-{Launching... One Sheet Wonder Wednesday}-

I had another one of my bright ideas... and like all of my bright ideas I have to asses it and think through how feasible it is for me to sustain.  This one passed the test...so far.

As you know I love sharing what I do creatively, however, committing to blog posts etc can be hard work as they do take time.  However this idea, I am hoping won't take too much time, as after this post I won't be explaining it in so much detail.

Each Wednesday I will post a video of me stamping onto an A4 sheet of card using the fab stamps and inks from Stampin' Up! I'm not planning to have too much of a plan, it's more sharing with you a creative process and seeing where it goes.

This week took a little longer to get sorted as I discovered I could edit videos on YouTube.  The original film was sixteen minutes long!  Managed to whittle it down to under eight...I hear you breath a sigh of relief!

Here is the film...

So I don't spoil the ending I am going to leave a gap before the next photo.

-{One Sheet Wonder Fun}-

Made a few cards from a stamped A4 Whisper White Card.
Chopped it up and ended up with 5 cards.

Here is a video showing the end result.  If you have any questions please contact me as I filmed this not long after waking and I should probably have said more!  Certainly I should have got the name of a stamp set correct! It's Mixed Bunch not Ornate Blossom... I think I plucked that name out of thin air!

Here are the measurements to cut the A4 sheet.

For the card bases, you need 2 sheets of 12x12 card.

Cut the first sheet in half and that will give you a 6x6" card base, then cut the left over piece at 16.5 cm to make the base for the 7x14cm stamped piece.

The second sheet cut at 19.5cm, then cut that piece in half to make the two long cards.
Then use the remaining piece scored at 3, 6 and 9" to make accordion card.

Apologies for mixing inches and centimeters.  I tend to interchange when it suits!

Ingredients
Mixed Bunch and Stippled Blossom stamp sets (retiring so get them now here)

-{Everytime we say goodbye...}-

...I cry a little....

I get like this every year when it's time to say goodbye to some favourite stamp sets and accessories.

However... I only have to wait a few more days before I see what those wonderful people at Stampin' Up! headquarters will be filling our new catalogue with.

Now, I do have to warn you, some of the retiring products sell out very, very fast.  If you would like to place and order and get it sent directly to you, it only costs £4.95 postage - and you'll know you have the items you want.  However if you put your order through me, I won't be closing it till the afternoon, and some items may have gone. Have a look {here} and click on "retiring products£at what is going.

Now, although MDS will eventually be no longer available, there is a fantastic 30% off all Stampin' Up! digital products and 20% off digital Project Life.  To see the list go {here}

~{Symbolic Easter Stamping}~

After a busy month of Stampin' Up! parties and events, it was really nice to sit at my craft table and do some stamping just for me.

I wanted to create an Easter image that described my reflections on Easter time.  That although Good Friday is the celebration of a death, it is a death that was meaningful and continues to be meaningful for me.

As I got a couple of unwanted marks on the card in the video, I remade it the next morning, and instead of using the Hardwood stamp I use one from Gorgeous Grunge to create a cross shape.

Ingredients:
Gorgeous Grunge (Blood and Cross)
Kinda Eclectic (Light Beams)
Serene Silhouettes (Thorns)
Another Thank You (heart)
Hardwood

Real Red, Black Stazon, Hello Honey and Sahara Sand.
